Got photos to share?  How about stories?
GSDbyDesign.com wants your photos of Great German Shepherds, pre-1990. We are also asking for your stories of famous dogs. Your submissions will help fanciers who are unfamiliar with the Greats from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, etc.

Submit photos to gsdbydesign@aol.com, or mail to Becky T. Dickson, 627 Battle Street, Webster, NH 03303. All images sent with an SASE will be returned.

3X Sel CH Wellspring's Ironsides ROM
Right: 3X Sel CH Wellsprings Ironsides ROM

Dear Ms. Dickson,

I'm so glad you chose Wellspring's Ironsides (above, right) to represent a fine animal. I was attending National in the late 1970s and had the privilege of meeting this dog and his owner, whom I
found to be an honest, highly-intelligent, caring for the breed, humble woman.

No lying about the dog or his x-rays, no drugging
the dog, none of the stuff I saw going on at that time.

I too look back at the Greats. Have you seen photos
of Saterhaus McKinley - another drop-dead-gorgeous
male? www.dogsgermanshepherd.com/mckinley.htm
